My First Telescope

In early February, I was planning a road trip out to the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Bryce National Park.  After some quick Googling, one of the things that jumped out at was that these are some of the premier stargazing locations in the US.  That was all the motivation I needed to finally pull the trigger on purchasing my first telescope and dive into amateur astronomy.

I jumped on Amazon, and within about 15 minutes a beautiful Celestron 21035 70mm Travel Scope was en route to my door via Amazon Prime.  To be continued…
